Text Box: How Consignment Works
Consignment is a selling arrangement where you (the “Consignor’) remain the owner of your property until it is sold by Children’s Carousel (the “Consignee”).   You “consign” your property to Children’s Carousel, who sells it in its retail store.  Upon sale, Children’s Carousel pays you a pre-agreed portion of the sale price.
Why Consignment ?
Have you purchased or received an article of clothing for your child only to learn that your little angel has outgrown it after only a few uses (if that many) ?  Why not resell that item, and other gently used items of outgrown clothing ?  You can use the proceeds to purchase larger sizes from other consignors who have the same clothing experiences as you.
Consignment is a great way to beat the rising costs of outfitting your family.  Most items in a consignment store sell for a fraction of the original price.  We strive to select only the best items to place in our store.  Because we do, you can rely on receiving the best value for your money.
Under our policies, the net sale price (after deduction of sales taxes and a small item listing charge) is divided equally between us.  Your part of the sale price is held on account for distribution to you on the 15th of each month.  Until it is distributed to you, you may make purchases at the store using your balance as payment.  If you purchase goods from us in that fashion, you receive a bonus discount of 5% on those purchases.

Text Box:            Tips For Shopping In A Consignment Store
Consignment Store shopping is simply BARGAIN HUNTING.  Thus it is a good idea to keep these suggestions in mind: (1) Shop Frequently.  New items arrive at our store daily.  (2)  If you see something you like, buy it now because it could be gone tomorrow.  (3)  Try on items you are unsure about. Not all manufacturers use the same sizing guidelines.  All sales are final.  (4)  Plan ahead for your needs.  That way you will be prepared when items come on sale.
How Do I Become A Consignor ?
Becoming a consignor is easy.  Just come into our store, fill out an enrollment form, and leave the items you plan to submit.  In order to save you time, we suggest that you be familiar with our procedures.  We hope to see you soon.
